ZWSOFT announced the release of ZWCAD 2025 Beta, the latest version of its powerful 2D CAD solution. This version contains many new features and improvements in 3D functionality, user interface and industry-specific modules, helping designers and engineers maximize efficiency and unleash creativity.

Customers can take advantage of the pre-sale promotion until May 16 (the official start of ZWCAD 2025 sales).

Promotion terms and conditions:

• Customers receive a bundled upgrade to ZWCAD 2025 when they purchase a new ZWCAD 2024 license or upgrade to ZWCAD 2024 during the promotion period.
• Promotion period: April 3 - May 16, 2024.
• Promotion region: all countries
• Available versions: ZWCAD Standard, ZWCAD Professional

Key new features and enhancements in ZWCAD 2025:

Improved 3D functionality:

• Improved efficiency: open, zoom in and scale complex 3D models faster and smoother.
• New visual styles: 4 visual styles are now available, including Conceptual, Realistic, Gray Tint and X-Ray. 
• Import STEP files: Directly import 3D files in STEP formats (AP203 and AP214) without the need for format conversion.
• 3D Gizmos: Easily move, rotate and scale 3D objects with 3D tools. 

Enhanced user interface:

• Ribbon improvements: Freely customize your workspace with ribbon panels that can be extended, dragged, moved, and collapsed as icons
• Panel Enhancement: Panels can be automatically folded and hidden to maximize your drawing space. A new navigator helps you drag and drop or dock panels more easily
• Floating drawing window: Simultaneously view multiple drawings using drawing windows that can be dragged and dropped from the program as floating windows.

Advanced industry-specific modules:

• Point cloud enhancement: Meet different needs with the addition of 3 visual styles including intensity, elevation and classification, as well as a scan view transition function.
• GIS enhancement: Ability to import more mapping services such as Bing Maps and map geographic markers to specified points on drawings.
