What’s new in Parallels Desktop 26

For all users (Standard / Pro / Business / Enterprise):

• Full compatibility with macOS 26 Tahoe — Coherence Mode preserved, refreshed Dock and menu icons, support for new background process rules.
• Accurate disk space visibility in Windows VMs — Windows now detects the actual free storage on Mac, preventing crashes and slowdowns.

For businesses and organizations (Business / Enterprise):

• SOC 2 Type II certification renewed — independently verified security and compliance controls.
• Single Windows app deployment guide — instructions on providing users with only the required app without exposing the whole Windows environment.
• Jamf integration — monitor and manage Windows updates in virtual machines without additional tools.

For the enterprise segment (Enterprise):

• Granular policy management (coming in release 26.1) — centrally define VM rules (USB, network, clipboard, app sharing), even after user creation or modification.

Also included in Parallels Desktop 26 are innovations from recent releases:

• USB passthrough for macOS VMs on Apple Silicon.

• Preview: run x86 VMs on Apple Silicon (Intel VM emulation).
