Wacom’s Pen Technology Powers the S Pen of the Galaxy S24 Ultra

January 30, 2024 (Tokyo, Japan) — Wacom Co, Ltd., announced that its unique digital pen technology has been adopted by Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy S24 Ultra. The Galaxy S24 Ultra unleashes new levels of creativity, productivity, and possibility assisted by AI and Samsung’s state-of-the-art technology, allowing users to capture and edit picture-perfect images, translate live conversations, summarize notes, tap or circle objects on the screen for quick search, as well as play games and more

Wacom has been supporting the technology for the S Pen of Galaxy devices for over a decade, and the S Pen for the Galaxy S24 Ultra helps users not only execute basic pen functions such as writing and drawing on apps like Samsung Notes or PENUP but also allows you to control your music, move around presentations and use the camera to take a selfie.

New to the Galaxy S24 Series, Circle to Search* with Google, allows users to press the Home button and then circle, highlight, or tap anything on the screen to perform a Google search and get information. With the Galaxy S24 Ultra, users can use the S Pen to perform operations such as tapping and circling the object on the screen with high precision control.
