The new STULZ CyberRack Active Rear Door is powerful cooling in a rack rear door format
News | 22.01.2026
The growth of computing power and the adoption of artificial intelligence require new approaches to heat dissipation. Traditional methods often struggle to handle the load in modern High-Density environments. STULZ offers an elegant and powerful solution to this challenge.
We are pleased to announce the official launch of the STULZ CyberRack Active Rear Door — an active rear door with a heat exchanger that mounts directly onto the server rack. This solution effectively cools hot air right where it is generated, ensuring the reliability of mission-critical equipment.
Why CyberRack changes the game
The main advantage of the system is the combination of high performance and compactness. With a depth of just 274 mm, CyberRack integrates easily even in limited spaces, without requiring the repositioning of existing racks.
CyberRack is the ideal choice for modernizing existing data centers and creating hybrid cooling systems.
Key technical specifications
Performance and efficiency
- High capacity: Delivers up to 49 kW of cooling (CW) thanks to large heat exchanger surfaces and EC fans.
- Energy saving: Support for high water temperatures extends Free Cooling hours, significantly reducing operating costs (OPEX).
- Adaptability: Differential pressure control precisely adjusts fan speed to the server airflow.
Design and operation
- Compactness: The unit depth is only 274 mm, which is a critical factor for retrofit projects.
- Flexible integration: Special adapter frames allow the door to be installed on racks of different sizes.
- Easy service: Two-step door opening (over 90°) and hot-swappable fans simplify maintenance.
- Intelligent control: Built-in STULZ E² controller with a 4.3-inch touch display and direct BMS integration.
Use cases
STULZ CyberRack is designed as a universal solution. You can use CyberRack as a standalone system, as a supplement to precision air conditioners, or as part of a hybrid solution alongside Direct-to-Chip liquid cooling technology.
