What was announced

On August 26, 2026, Synology launched the DVA7400, its flagship Deep Learning Analytics appliance for large-scale surveillance. The 2U 12-bay rackmount system processes up to 100 high-resolution camera feeds and runs 40 real-time deep learning analytics tasks in parallel, while operating fully on-premises.

The DVA7400 also acts as a central management server, orchestrating camera fleets and servers across multiple sites through the Central Management System (CMS) in Synology Surveillance Station. All recordings and AI metadata remain on the appliance, keeping video data inside the organization's own infrastructure.

The DVA7400 represents the culmination of Synology's nearly two decades of expertise in physical security. By combining centralized management for distributed camera fleets with completely localized AI analytics, it empowers enterprises to scale their surveillance infrastructure without compromising on data privacy.
