Softprom and AppGuard signed a distribution agreement

July, 2020 — Softprom, the VAD IT distributor in Europe, and AppGuard, the world leader in server and endpoint security, announced the signing of a distribution agreement.
Under the contract, Softprom will provide distribution and promotion of AppGuard products in Europe with a focus on Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, and Switzerland.

Protecting the operating system by applying policies at the kernel level Patented AppGuard technology works for both large and small corporate enterprises, as well as for individual consumers.

AppGuard prevents violations by blocking applications from performing inappropriate processes, but allows them to continue to perform normal actions using proprietary dynamic isolation and inheritance technologies. Applying the principles of zero trust within endpoints, AppGuard provides the most advanced protection and reduces the cost of cyber operations.

AppGuard Adaptive Policy Enforcement (APE) prevents viruses, fileless malware, botnets, polymorphic malware, weapons documents, targeted attacks, in-memory attacks, ransomware, phishing, crashes, disk downloads, and other advanced threats. AppGuard does not rely on scanning for known signatures or patterns to identify the good of the bad files. The lightweight AppGuard agent is at a low kernel level and blocks inappropriate actions such as code injection or process-level registry overrides.
