NotebookLM Officially Graduates to Gemini Notebook in Google Workspace

In July 2026, Google officially announced the graduation of NotebookLM from its Google Labs phase into a core, fully supported Google Workspace service named Gemini Notebook.

The primary significance of this update is the platform's transition into a fully compliant enterprise-grade service, ensuring that data privacy and administrative controls align with strict corporate governance standards.

Key Commercial and Operational Benefits:

• Enterprise Data Privacy: All content processed within business accounts remains strictly confidential and isolated. Customer data is never utilized to train Google's public AI models.
