Google Cloud and Salesforce Unify AI Stack 2026

News | 21.09.2026

Fragmented enterprise systems slow down AI adoption. Salesforce and Google Cloud are removing that friction by unifying infrastructure, data, and agents into a single connected stack.

Enterprises struggle when customer data, business logic, and AI agents live in disconnected silos. Every integration adds cost, latency, and risk. The expanded Salesforce and Google Cloud partnership announced at Dreamforce 2026 addresses this challenge by running Salesforce workloads on Google Cloud through Hyperforce and connecting Salesforce's headless architecture with Gemini Enterprise, so agents on either platform can reason and act on the same trusted data without custom integrations.

What was announced

On September 15, 2026, Salesforce and Google Cloud announced an expanded strategic partnership covering infrastructure, agents, commerce, and data. Hyperforce on Google Cloud is already handling live production traffic, with select U.S. customer migrations starting in Q4 2026 and North America GA in November 2026. Phased regional expansion, including Germany, is planned for 2027.

Google Cloud becomes one of the first hyperscalers to implement Salesforce's headless architecture, built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) open standard. This allows thousands of Salesforce capabilities to be surfaced natively inside Gemini Enterprise, and Google's Gemini models to power Agentforce's Reasoning Engine and Prompt Builder.

What changes here is the infrastructure underneath our customers, not the trust they have built with us. Hyperforce running natively on Google Cloud will extend the same security, compliance, and resilience standards we hold ourselves to.

Why this matters

For CIOs, CISOs, and IT procurement leaders, this alliance reduces integration overhead and consolidates the AI stack around a common data foundation. Enterprises gain deployment choice for Salesforce workloads on AI-optimized Google Cloud infrastructure while preserving established security, compliance, and governance controls.

Commerce leaders also benefit: with Commerce Cloud powering discovery and Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) checkout inside Google Search, AI Mode, and the Gemini app, merchants can shorten the path from discovery to purchase while keeping payments, compliance, and order management on their existing infrastructure.
