The solution extends CrowdStrike Next-Gen Identity Security to cover human, non-human and AI identities in a single continuous model, giving security teams a unified way to authenticate, authorize and govern AI agents across their lifecycle, from development through runtime.

The Agentic Identity Provider is designed to work with the broader Falcon portfolio, including AI Detection & Response, SaaS Security and Cloud Security, so that agent identities are visible and controllable across endpoints, cloud workloads and SaaS applications.

Why this matters

For CIOs, CISOs and IT leaders, the rapid adoption of AI agents introduces a class of identity risk that existing IDPs, PAM and ITDR tools do not fully cover. Agents can inherit excessive permissions, act outside intended scopes and be targeted by prompt injection or supply chain attacks.
