Citrix Expands Platform Flex with Observability and Secure Dev Services 2026

On August 11, 2026, Citrix, a Cloud Software Group company, announced two new services for Citrix Platform Flex: Citrix Experience Insights Flex and Citrix SecurSpaces Flex. Both extend the flexible credit model introduced with Citrix DaaS Flex in May 2026, giving IT, security and platform teams a simpler way to modernize work without adding infrastructure.

What was announced

Citrix Experience Insights Flex is a Citrix-managed observability solution powered by the Splunk Cloud Platform. It consolidates high-resolution telemetry from Citrix DaaS sessions, endpoints, applications, network connections, browser and SaaS activity, and security signals into prebuilt, day-one dashboards. Teams can analyze data without deploying their own analytics backend.

Citrix SecurSpaces Flex is a hosted, cloud-based platform for code development and agentic workloads. It delivers standardized Linux-based environments for coding, building and testing, with fully controlled ingress and egress. Citrix operates the control plane, hosting, databases, workspaces and scaling, while customers retain control of identity, source code, policies and data.

Under Platform Flex, organizations purchase a pool of Flex credits and consume them over time, spinning resources up or down as demand changes. DaaS Flex and SecurSpaces Flex workspaces can be combined through a single credit pool.
