AWS and Superblocks Bring Secure Enterprise AI App Development to Amazon Bedrock

What was announced

Superblocks will integrate its enterprise vibe-coding platform with Amazon Bedrock, Amazon EC2, and Amazon Aurora. Through the Cloud-Prem deployment model, all data and generated application code remain inside the customer's own AWS security perimeter, preserving existing network controls, governance policies, and production security requirements.

A key component is the Superblocks Smart Router on Amazon Bedrock, which routes each task to the most cost-effective model — reserving frontier models only when necessary. According to Superblocks, this approach can deliver up to 30% cost savings on model consumption. Amazon Aurora is used to spin up databases for new AI-generated applications with scale-to-zero capabilities and up to 6x the throughput of standard engines.

As part of the collaboration, AWS becomes Superblocks' preferred cloud provider. The two companies will co-market the offering, deliver hands-on AI app development workshops, and make Superblocks available through AWS Marketplace to simplify contracting and committed-spend utilization.
