AWS and Hoxton Wealth Deploy Agentic AI for Wealth Management 2026
News | 08.09.2026
Wealth management firms face a widening gap between AI ambition and production reality. Advisors spend hours on reports, compliance checks and searching for information locked in the minds of senior colleagues. Agentic AI, deployed with the right engineering support, is starting to close that gap.
International financial advisory firm Hoxton Wealth has begun collaborating with Amazon Web Services to explore how AI can benefit both its own operations and the wider wealth management sector. The initiative is part of a broader shift toward embedding AI engineers directly into customer teams to co-develop production-grade solutions in days rather than months.
What was announced
Hoxton Wealth is working with AWS under the vendor's USD 1 billion investment in Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE), a new organization that embeds experienced AWS engineers, including specialists from frontier AI teams, directly with customer teams to co-develop and deploy agentic AI solutions. Engagements are structured around business outcomes and are designed so the customer's own team achieves self-sufficiency by the end of each project.
One initiative already underway uses AI to generate client reports, boosting advisor productivity and streamlining operations. Hoxton Wealth is also building an internal knowledge base to democratise expertise that currently sits with a small number of senior staff, making it accessible across the firm.
Our goal is simple: help firms like Hoxton Wealth close the gap between AI ambition and production reality, deploying agentic AI at scale, and at startup speed. Our Forward Deployed Engineers build alongside the customer team so the firm owns the capability long after we step back
Why this matters
For CIOs, CTOs and heads of digital transformation in financial services, the collaboration illustrates a practical route to production-ready agentic AI. Instead of long proof-of-concept cycles, FDE targets measurable business outcomes and knowledge transfer, giving IT leaders a repeatable model for scaling AI without permanent dependence on external teams.
Compliance leaders and procurement teams also benefit: report generation that used to take hours now takes minutes, personalised client presentations are assembled in minutes, and compliance checks that previously took days are completed in a fraction of the time. This reduces operational risk while freeing advisors to focus on client relationships.
