Infoblox Government Cloud Earns FedRAMP Moderate Certification 2026
News | 27.07.2026
Federal agencies modernizing DNS, DHCP and IP address management now have a FedRAMP-authorized cloud platform aligned with current NIST guidance.
As U.S. federal agencies accelerate AI adoption and cloud modernization, the network foundation beneath every user, application and workload has become mission-critical. Disconnected DDI tools and legacy systems increase operational complexity, limit visibility and introduce risk. Infoblox has answered this challenge by achieving FedRAMP Moderate certification for Infoblox Government Cloud, a cloud-managed platform delivering DDI and network-centric asset intelligence for on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments.
What was announced
Infoblox announced on July 22, 2026 that Infoblox Government Cloud has achieved Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) Moderate certification. Delivered through AWS GovCloud (US), the platform centralizes policy, automation, visibility and lifecycle management, while allowing mission-critical network services to remain distributed where agency architectures require. The certification is listed on the FedRAMP Marketplace, giving agencies and systems integrators a defined path to evaluate, procure and deploy the service.
Government agencies are modernizing faster than ever, but modernization is not just about moving to the cloud or adopting AI. It is about building a resilient network foundation that aligns with current NIST guidance
Why this matters
For CIOs, CISOs and IT procurement leaders at federal agencies, the FedRAMP Moderate authorization removes a significant barrier to adopting modern DDI. Agencies can now consolidate fragmented DNS, DHCP and IPAM tooling into a single source of truth, advance Zero Trust and Comply-to-Connect initiatives, and align with NIST SP 800-81 Rev. 3 guidance for DNS architecture and resilience. The platform also supports the federal IPv6 transition under OMB M-21-07 by providing the discovery, address management and lifecycle governance needed to sustain migration.
