2023 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Single-Vendor SASE
News | 15.09.2023
Gartner has recognized Forcepoint as a Visionary in its first Magic Quadrant for Single-Vendor SASE.
For the second year in a row, Gartner has positioned Forcepoint as a Visionary and recognized us for our Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute.
Security Service Edge (SSE) is the security half of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE). Gartner states that, «SSE secures access to the web, cloud services and private applications regardless of the location of the user or the device they are using or where that application is hosted».
Gartner defines single-vendor secure access service edge (SASE) offerings as those that deliver multiple converged-network and security-as-a-service capabilities, such as software-defined WAN, secure web gateway, cloud access security broker, network firewalling and zero trust network access. These offerings use a cloud-centric architecture and are delivered by one vendor. SASE supports branch office, remote worker and on-premises general internet security, private application access and cloud service consumption use cases.
Strengths Forcepoint's:
